Strategist - customer experience, eCommerce and digital marketing.
We are looking for an experienced strategist to join our growing team. The role will see you working on key projects, acting as an expert consultant, and working with an enviable client list.
Day-to-day life as a strategist / consultant at WeAreDigital is varied. In this role you will lead teams and play part in project teams that form, and reform, with different team members depending on the scope and requirements of the project.
You may be leading a research project one day and then developing a channel strategy for a client the next. Whatever the project, we aim to deliver strategic solutions to our client’s digital challenges, and you will need to research and analyse market opportunities and ways to overcome their pain points.
You will feel comfortable working on Transformation projects, International research / eCommerce growth, User Journey’s, AB and MVT Testing, Consumer Purchase Path, Commercial modelling and forecasting, Omnichannel Retailing, Social Media and Content Strategies.
In addition, you will be required to work directly with clients, build relationships, maintain communications, and work with the delivery team in managing deadlines and client deliverables.
The mission of this role is to provide insight-based strategic direction to clients that helps solve business problems and achieve KPIs, in turn developing strong client relationships and growth.
Examine clients’ businesses, customers, strategies, strengths and weaknesses.
Provide relevant insights for projects, or provide the right tools and methods for gathering insights to other staff.
Develop and present rigorous business brand, channel and communications strategies that meet client goals and KPIs.
Confidently brief colleagues and partners on implementing strategic direction for clients.
Oversee, direct and input into strategic delivery as executed by our internal, client and/or partner agency teams.
Lead and input into planning and participation of strategic workshops and quarterly working sessions with stakeholders at various levels.
Follow trends in behaviours and technologies that may change how businesses operate and communicate to customers.
Actively assist with ongoing business development.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of eight years digital experience in consulting or agency roles.
Experience working across a range of channels in order to communicate how strategies can be executed in a multi-channel and multi-device world.
Experience in planning and delivering cross-channel digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, including developing business case ROI and quantified KPIs for any digital activity.
An in-depth understanding of omnichannel/digital customer experience.
Experience in developing frameworks and strategic solutions for clients.
Hunger to find and share new customer insights that better root decisions in data and fact.
Ability to organise thinking and communicate ideas, issues and solutions with confidence and brevity.
Creative in their approach to problem solving and utilising technologies to improve results and efficiencies.
Attention to detail.
Strategic thinker with a commercial focus.
A team player who sees the value of shared input, but also autonomous and confident in working alone.
Ability to support and build capability of our internal and client teams.
